save the planet if others do it? What the hell is wrong here?!?!?!? Why shouldn't we do what we can especially if other countries do not? Is he fucking kidding? It seems that he would be perfectly happy to sit by and watch the world rot away. Well I am sorry, but I would like LilBit's 
children to not be mutants ravaged by radiation and unable to drink the water of the world because Bush is too fucking stubborn to take a stand on his own. I think he is more worried about pissing of the people of our country whose money comes from polluting our Earth. The more we destroy our planet the more money those people make. The old, rich fuckers will all be dead before the major consequences arise and to hell with what happens to rest of us left to deal with the disaster. Well I say, TO HELL WITH THEM!

I love our Prime Minister. He's kicking some serious ass right now. But every-time he gives in to something (like letting the Chinese 'torch attendants' anywhere near the torch run) I get so mad at him. But then I remember that he's done so much that at some point, to maintain relations and the stability of OZ, something's got to give. However, Bush is crap. Much like John Howard was crap. Like you said, they are seriously rich and that's all that matters to them. BASTARDS.
Rudd has done amazing things there. You are right about some of the bad decisions, but most of us do understand that to do it right for most people you have to compromise some. At least he tries and puts up some sort of fight. Bush gives half hearted empty promises. I will not cry when he leaves office at the end of the year.
I also want to say that if I didn't have LilBit, I SO would have been in Australia fighting the Japanese over the whales. I could hardly wait everyday to read the stories of what was happening. I wish I could go down there and fight that one next season. MAN! I wish I had the ability to be more active!
