So my 10 year high school reunion is this summer. Damn, I feel old now. We have a website to register on and put pictures up so I signed on. I can't believe I am actually going. i always said that I would never go to these things, but my friend in Florida who I have known for 17 years is going to go and told me that she needs me to go with her. She is also going to bring her husband which means that I have to have a date. I cannot show up with her and her husband and not have a date myself. Jay said he would go with me which should be interesting since Firecracker and I went to high school together. Hmm... She was the class behind me so she won't be there, but several other people we know will be. This could get ugly. He says he doesn't give a rat's ass and I guess I shouldn't either. It will be fun to see everyone; I just hope that everyone else has grown up too and realizes that we were kids back then. I was not the most wonderful child out there. I did a lot of things that pissed off a lot of people, mostly the girls if you know what I mean. I think that after 10 years, we should all be over it, but I am still nervous. You know? Really though, if anyone says anything, I can just rest easy with the fact that I grew up and they didn't.
I was looking on the site and saw some names that I haven't thought of in...well, 10 years I guess. There are several people that I am excited about seeing. I really do think I should have a good time. My friend from Florida (who also stands to catch a bunch of shit from people) said that if it does for some reason get uncomfortable for us, we will just walk out and go out just the 4 of us.
Okay, okay. I know. I need to go into with a positive attitude not already making backup plans for how to get out of there. I will work on that.
I am also having Roy, my personal trainer, kick my butt a little harder to get me looking as good as possible for this whole thing. I am going to walk in skinny, toned, hair to my waist and HOT!
=)

Hmmm...for your sake I hope there's an open bar. If my first reunion's open bar had been a man (or a girl with a nice ass, let's be honest) I would have married him (or her)
In a big cathedral
By a priest.
But yours will be better, I bet.
10 years is good, it gives people time to forget (or whatever. Two words: Wrongly Accused. )
Ok, sorry about the removed comment.
I am currently working on my spelling ( hooked on phonics got me a teensy bit obsessed about all things to do with language)
So, anyways, WAR has been declared on all typo's.
Me writing english good now.
Well I am glad that you are at least trying to learn to read and write. Don't worry, mastery of the English language is hard as hell to come by.
It won't be an "open" bar, but there will be a bar. Jay will be driving, and I will be making sweet sweet love to the bar!
Good, just remember to name your babies after me.
And I do mean ALL of them.
Yikes! I skipped my reunion because I was too scared to go. I was a mad person in those days. I recently ran into a couple I know and I felt an intense satisfaction that I was in way better shape than either of them. Use that as a mighty mighty shield.
And as for facebook, try searching for Afsana, and set the network as 'Monash'. I'm the hot one ;-)
